CNC Drill Press Operator (Will Train)

$20-$26/hr | Paid Training on 1st Shift | Long-Term Career Opportunity

Looking to get into CNC machining or take the next step in your manufacturing career? We're hiring a CNC Drill Press Operator for a growing machine shop. Candidates with CNC experience, drill press experience, machine operating experience, or strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

This position offers hands-on training, long-term stability, and opportunities to develop valuable machining skills in a supportive shop environment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $20.00-$26.00/hr (based on experience)

Training Schedule (1-3 Months):

  • 1st Shift
  • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Permanent Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift
  • 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do
  • Operate CNC drill press equipment to machine metal parts
  • Load and unload materials into machines
  • Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
  • Read blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring and inspection tools
  • Verify quality standards are met throughout production
  • Use hand and power tools to support production activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

The facility operates in a job shop environment, producing a variety of parts and projects for customers across multiple industries.
