The Production Operator is a crucial role within our facility, responsible for operating filling equipment and maintaining safety standards, regulatory compliance, and product quality. They play a key role in our facility's smooth and efficient operations by ensuring accurate and precise filling of chemicals. As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to acquire fundamental knowledge of safety practices, process knowledge, and hands-on experience in handling and filling chemicals. Who You Are: 

  • Actively participate in safety and process improvement initiatives
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate measurement, labeling, and adherence to quality standards during the filling process.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, process deviations, or product inconsistencies and take appropriate corrective actions.

Your Experience Should Include: 

  • Minimum of 6 months or equivalent experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment, preferably in chemical filling or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Familiarity with GMP principles and the ability to apply them in daily operations to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Understanding of safety protocols, procedures, and regulations within a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Proficiency in operating filling equipment or similar machinery. Ability to understand and follow equipment manuals, process instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, report issues, and follow instructions from supervisors or management.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects (50 lbs), and repetitive motion.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules, and production demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for maintaining product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, process parameters, and any deviations or incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members to set up filling equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality before starting the filling process.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines throughout the filling process, promoting a culture of safety and reporting any safety incidents or hazards.
  • Follow all regulatory requirements and standards to ensure the proper handling, labeling, and storage of chemicals during the filling process.
  • Responsible for operating filling equipment accurately and efficiently to fill chemical products according to specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to verify product labels, measure quantities, and inspect the overall quality of filled products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify and address any issues or abnormalities that may arise during the filling process, such as equipment malfunctions or product inconsistencies, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Operate under good manufacturing practices, adhering to standard operating procedures safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and efficient communication throughout the filling process.
