Job Title: Purchase Order Processing Specialist

Department: Customer Service

Reporting to: Order Processing Manager

Location: Shelbyville, KY (ON-SITE)

Greenfield is looking for a Purchase Order Processing Specialist to join our growing team.   This is not a “warehouse” or “retail” order processing role.  Successful candidates MUST have experience in a professional office environment processing purchase orders for other businesses primarily through email and some phone.

Your Experience Should Include:

• Working in a professional office environment processing orders for other businesses.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with multiple departments
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in computer programs such as Outlook and Microsoft Office

Job Responsibilities:

• Auditing and processing orders that arrive via email, fax, or mail
• Ensure all required regulatory information is received, reviewed, and properly documented to prepare orders for shipment
• Record customer information within our database
• Email required documentation to customers
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner and properly address concerns
• Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company and department processes
• Taking inbound calls
