The Greer Group has a great entry-level Machine Operations opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established company, offering the chance to learn new skills, gain valuable manufacturing experience, and become part of a great team. No previous manufacturing experience is required -just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn!
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, packaging, and preparing products while performing a variety of secondary operations.
Duties may include:
  • Inspecting products for defects and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Packaging and labeling products
  • Performing basic counting and weighing functions
  • Operating automatic and manual machines
  • Trimming and grinding parts as needed
  • Performing secondary operations such as assembly, sonic welding, and pad printing
  • Sorting products and recording production and scrap information
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Following all safety and quality procedures

Pay: $16 - $17/hour
Full benefits and PTO offered after permanent hire - no waiting period!
Requirements:
  • Entry-level position -no previous manufacturing experience required
  • Ability to perform basic math
