Job description

The Greer Group has a great temp-to-hire Machine/Press operator opportunity for motivated individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing! We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates to join a growing production team. No manufacturing experience is required—we'll train the right individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.


Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts:
    • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend off, giving you more time to spend with family and friends!


What You'll Do

  • Inspect plastic parts to ensure they meet quality standards from presses during production
  • Package finished products according to work instructions
  • Operate and monitor production equipment
  • Perform trimming, assembly, and other secondary operations
  • Record production and scrap information
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work as part of a team to meet production goals


Qualifications

  • No previous manufacturing experience required—paid training provided!
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Strong attention to detail
