COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Mountville Rubber provides exceptional compounding services for CPE, CR, EPDM, NBR, NR, and SBR to various markets averaging 35 million pounds annually. Our experienced staff is dedicated to creating the greatest value for our customers.

POSITION OVERVIEW: A Manufacturing Operator I (MFG OP I) is an entry-level role in Mountville Rubber. Upon mastering additional positions, you may become a MFG OP II, MFG OP III, or MFG OP IV. Each step up comes with additional pay increases.
COMPENSATION: $17/hr Base Pay (+$0.50 Shift Differential for 2nd shift, +$1.00 Shift Differential for 3rd shift)
JOB DUTIES:
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent contamination
• Ensure the oil and mixing process for the first batch is verified by production supervisor or another designated employee
• Remove all knots from pre-weigh bags before loading them into the mixer
• After the last batch, keep mixer door open and run mixer for an additional 10 minutes before shutting down
• Complete the current batch before taking breaks
• Fold rubber into boxes or onto pallets
• Load raw materials onto a belt as instructed
• Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to read and understand control screens
• Competence in reading a tape measure
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to lift 50lbs
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Non-Climate controlled warehouse
• Due to the production of rubber from powdered chemicals, you will get dirty working at Mountville Rubber.
• Steel-toe boots are required
