Job Summary: Building/Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Building/Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the functionality and upkeep of our club equipment and facilities, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to create a safe and welcoming environment for our members.
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Flexible
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on cardio equipment, weight machines, tanning beds, hydro massage beds, and more.
  • Maintain mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components.
  • Complete facility upkeep tasks such as painting and general repairs.
  • Coordinate with management to arrange external services for warranties, inspections, and extensive repairs.
  • Follow and execute maintenance schedules (annual, monthly, and weekly, etc.).
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving facility and equipment concerns promptly.
  • Address emergency maintenance requests with urgency.
  • Submit weekly reports for your assigned club.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:
  • Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time between 4 clubs (Nazareth, Easton, Bethlehem, and Mount Pocono)
    • High school diploma/GED (required).
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Knowledge of facility maintenance and repair processes.
    • Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.
    • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
    • CPR Certification (preferred).
    • Ability to work on gym/workout equipment
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs (occasionally over 80 lbs).
    • Exposure to toxic chemicals (infrequent).
    • Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
    • Talking in person or via phone throughout the shift.
