Job description

Job Summary: Data Loss Prevention Manager
- Monitor insider risk activities using Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (IRM), identifying patterns such as data resignation and data leaks.
- Manage and optimize Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and policies, particularly for IRM and data protection initiatives.
- Enhance and maintain auto-labelling policies to ensure automatic encryption of documents containing sensitive information (PII, PHI, Intellectual Property).
- Investigate and correlate alert data using Content Explorer and Activity Explorer to determine what data was shared and how.
- Prepare and deliver weekly risk snapshot reports for leadership, providing visual trends on sensitive data exfiltration attempts.
- Utilize strong analytical skills, including Boolean logic and Regex, to define and identify sensitive data types.
- Operate within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem with a comprehensive understanding of data movement across platforms.
- Handle highly sensitive company risk and behavioral data with utmost integrity and discretion.
