Logistics Coordinator – Pickering, ON.
Employment Type: Full-Time | Experience Level: Entry-Level

Compensation: $50,000 Base + Bonus Structure after 3 Months

Schedule: In-office, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping freight moving smoothly across North America. You will collaborate closely with operations and sales teams to coordinate shipments, resolve challenges, and ensure everything runs on schedule.


This is a fast-paced role requiring strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous 3PL logistics experience is an asset, allowing you to contribute effectively from day one; however, we are also willing to train the right candidate who is eager to build a career in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities

•    Freight Quoting: Obtain quotes from carriers, evaluate pricing, communicate costs, and assist in negotiating competitive rates.
•    Order Entry: Accurately enter orders into the system and coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure order details are correct.
•    Tracking Shipments: Monitor shipments using tracking systems and provide timely updates on status and ETA.
•    Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues with shipments or administrative processes, collaborating with the team to improve efficiency.


Key Attributes
•    Education & Experience: Post-secondary education in a relevant field or at least 1 year of logistics/transportation experience is preferred.
•    Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM systems.
