Sports Card Breaker/Live Stream Host

Part-Time or Full-Time | Evening & Weekend Availability Required | Homewood, AL


Magic City Collectibles is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sports Card Live Stream Host to lead our live breaking and live-selling events. This position plays a key role in creating an engaging customer experience while representing one of Alabama's premier hobby shops.

The ideal candidate is passionate about sports cards, comfortable on camera, and able to build excitement while interacting with a live audience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Host live sports card breaks and live-selling events on platforms such as Whatnot and Fanatics Live.
  • Create an engaging, high-energy experience for viewers through conversation, product knowledge, and audience interaction.
  • Open products live while accurately identifying cards, players, parallels, inserts, and other key hits.
  • Stay informed on current sports card releases, athletes, grading trends, and hobby news.
  • Maintain professionalism while representing the brand.
  • Assist with stream setup, product preparation, shipping organization, and post-stream cleanup.
  • Help create promotional and educational content for social media.
  • Provide excellent customer service both during livestreams and in-store when needed.
  • Assist with general retail responsibilities outside of streaming as needed.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the sports card hobby and current products.
  • Comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with a live audience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
