Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking a Level II NDT Field Technician to join our team in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry. As a Level II NDT Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing on equipment and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work in the Eagle Ford Shale area, EFSHL, and will be an integral part of our team in maintaining the safety and integrity of our operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Level II NDT certification in ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or liquid penetrant testing
  • Experience conducting non-destructive testing in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate test results
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience with radiographic testing
  • Experience with phased array ultrasonic testing
  • Experience with time-of-flight diffraction testing
  • Experience with visual inspection

Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-destructive testing on equipment and materials using various techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing
  • Interpret and evaluate test results to determine compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results and communicate findings to management and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the safety and integrity of our operations
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing testing activities
