Job Overview
As a Mid-Level Cyber SysAdmin, you will be a vital asset in configuring, maintaining, and supporting our enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance. Joining our team, your independence and effective communication skills will be crucial for success. Up to 25% travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities

  • System Management: Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers across both physical and cloud-based environments.
  • User Support: Serve as the escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets, resolving complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Patch & Update Management: Ensure organizational stability and compliance by proactively implementing system updates, security patches, and firmware upgrades.
  • Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize enterprise resources within AWS and/or Azure, including virtual machines, cloud storage, and identity services.
  • Backup & Recovery: Design, establish, and monitor robust backup solutions and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitoring & Performance: Leverage advanced monitoring tools to track system health and optimize performance metrics.
  • Access Control: Maintain a secure environment through the administration of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
  • Compliance Support: Support the security posture by maintaining configurations and documentation necessary to meet CMMC requirements.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Provision and manage Microsoft Intune for BYOD and corporate-owned devices, overseeing security policies and automated app deployments.
  • Documentation: Author and maintain precise system documentation, network diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable IT experience in system administration or related roles, with proficiency in Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support in a structured IT environment.
  • Strong background in Windows Server and Linux administration, networking protocols, familiarity with AWS or Azure services, scripting with PowerShell or Bash, system security, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Active CompTIA Security+
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Desired Certifications

CompTIA CySA+ or CASP+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator.
