The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line understanding. Looking for candidates with some variety of the skills listed below.
Responsibilities:
Workstation and Server support:
  • Local Linux Desktop support
  • Support local and remote "Cloud-in-a-box" infrastructure (Nutanix)
  • Comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting

Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage and Maintain cloud-based resources (AWS)
  • IPA
  • Puppet
  • Documentation

Network support:
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure
  • Support/troubleshoot local network issues

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP) - must have or willing to get within 1-2 months of starting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • +/- 7 years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
  • Willingness to learn new technologies

Desired
  • Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, and Kubernetes
  • Experience or understanding of "Cloud-in-a-Box" Solutions
  • Experience with Ansible and scripting
