Role: Solutions Architect

Employment Type: Full-time (W2)

Workplace Type: Hybrid (3 days in office per week)

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA

Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our client's team in Atlanta! If you're interested in working with a premier research organization at the cutting edge of technology and supporting an enterprise-level mission, we look forward to seeing your application!


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand how integration with third-party software vendors will impact the system and provide guidance on impact to the enterprise.
  • Understand the System Architecture design (compute, hardware/virtual, OS, storage, networking, security) and how new requirements may impact the design.
  • Is a prime contributor to the requirements, design, or development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CICD) processes using DevOps and DevSecOps principles.
  • Understands and employs best practices such as Architecture as Code.
  • Installing and maintaining Linux environments
  • Configuration management
  • Designing and building secure infrastructure
  • Solving networking issues
  • Researching and prototyping new technologies
  • Building custom RPMs
  • Virtual Machine management


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Willingness to obtain a CISSP certification.
  • Technical diagnostic expertise including problem investigation, reproduction, and resolution skills.
  • Prior experience as a Linux system administrator.
  • Prior experience with any of the following:
    • Security Enhanced Linux
    • Tomcat /Oracle/Apache
    • SCAP
    • NetApp
    • Case Management
    • Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    • Puppet
