Job description

This is a great opportunity for a Culinary Student or someone to get a "foot in the door" to the hospitality industry. Experience is not necessary and we will train the right applicant who shows potential, hard work and dedication. The candidate will be responsible for preparing the kitchen with a multitude of tasks to include the day to day preparation of menu items and continually uphold the standards put forth by the Chef and Bern's Steak House culinary team.

Job Summary 

  • Prepare your station with all necessary items/tools according to designated assigned station. 
  • Prepare, cook, and plate all items on designated station according to Chef standards. 
  • Ensure quality of all products with guidance from Chef. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation throughout the shift.

  • Work quickly, safely and accurately under pressure during shifts as well as multitasking.
