Job Title: Data Center Technician
Client: Amazon Web Services
Location: Fairless Hills, PA
Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months, with possible transition to permanent role)
Level: Entry-Level/Level 1 Technician
Pay Rate: $30/hr

Job Description:
Are you seeking an opportunity to build your technical skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We are looking for reliable and motivated Level 1 Data Center Technicians to support data center operations in Fairless Hills, PA, with the potential for a full-time position after a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Install cabling in a structured environment within the data center
Perform patching on pre-configured racks
Use computer-based tools, including Boost, for daily operations and task tracking
Assist with troubleshooting network and connectivity issues
Support installation and general maintenance projects (splicing skills are a bonus, but not required)
Work Environment:
Construction-like data center setting
Exposure to hot and dusty conditions
Adherence to strict security protocols at all times
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures
Basic computer literacy
Comfort working independently or as part of a small team
Ability to adapt to a physically demanding environment
Commitment to following all safety regulation


Required Qualifications:
Previous data center experience or rack and stack experience is required.
Hands-on experience with copper and fiber cabling is required.
Experience installing, routing, terminating, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cables in a structured cabling environment.
Familiarity with rack installation, cable management, and patching in a data center environment.
Ability to follow data center safety protocols and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
