Drummond Woodsum is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our firm's Litigation Practice Group. This is an entry-level position with a support-based approach, fielding administrative tasks and requests as they come in from our legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys from our litigation group.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Hand deliveries to court
• Greeting clients
• Preparation for meetings (client or internal) including scheduling, meal orders, setting up/breaking down conference rooms
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Submitting travel reimbursement and other expense sheets
• Provide backup support and absence coverage
• Perform various administrative functions such as conflict checks, opening new matters, and timekeeping management as needed
• Carrying out other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Possess strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• General knowledge of common software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, PDF, Excel, and MS Word
• Able to multitask and balance priorities
• Motivated to learn and grow
