Job description

EMC Test Engineer (Entry Level)
We are seeking a recent Electrical Engineering graduate for an entry-level EMC Test Engineer position supporting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and validation of automotive electrical and electronic systems. This hands-on role focuses on EMC testing, laboratory operations, troubleshooting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys working with laboratory equipment, and thrives in a collaborative engineering environment.
Scope:
• Prepare vehicles, electronic modules, and test equipment for EMC validation activities.
• Configure test systems and support software/firmware readiness for development and certification testing.
• Execute EMC emissions and immunity testing in accordance with automotive and industry standards.
• Develop and utilize automation scripts (Python, Bash, or similar) to support testing and data collection.
• Capture, analyze, and document test data while maintaining accurate test records and configurations.
• Troubleshoot test failures and support root cause investigations and validation of corrective actions.
• Support laboratory operations, including equipment setup, maintenance, calibration, and overall lab readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and support testing at internal and external EMC laboratories.
• Assist with vehicle certification, compliance, and related electrical validation activities.
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (recent graduate).
• Hands-on laboratory experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, function generators, or similar instrumentation.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work hands-on with automotive electrical systems and laboratory equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
