Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA (MICU) is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of custom internal software systems. This role will work closely with senior developers, designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to build reliable web applications and software solutions that support MICU's operations.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in software development, enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving, and is eager to grow their technical skills in a collaborative development environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance custom MICU software applications and internal systems

  • Work closely with senior developers, designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions

  • Participate in Agile development processes, including daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application and technology stack

  • Support web application development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance

  • Contribute to technical documentation, system documentation, and internal knowledge sharing

  • Follow software development best practices for code quality, security, maintainability, and performance

  • Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of programming or software development experience, including relevant internship or professional experience

  • Experience with at least two of the following technologies: .NET, TypeScript, and SQL

  • At least 1 year of experience developing web applications

  • Basic understanding of software development concepts, debugging, testing, and version control

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
