Job description

Our company builds technology that helps pharmaceutical manufacturers ensure their therapies reach the patients who need them. We are looking for a fast-learning, challenge-driven business analyst / software developer who thrives under pressure and is eager to grow with a dynamic, mission-driven team.
This is a customer-facing role, and strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential. You will frequently engage with customers to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and help develop effective and scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate is not only technically capable but also curious and quick to understand complex business processes. We’re looking for someone who can connect the dots between customer operations and software capabilities, and who is motivated to learn the ins and outs of pharmaceutical manufacturers to help streamline their operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for professional growth, especially for someone who wants to be part of a small company on an upward trajectory and is ready to commit to its success. Stock options will be offered to committed employees. The role comes with flexible hours, as it is not a traditional 9-to-5 job.
Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to understand business needs, pain points, and requirements
  • Learn and internalize pharmaceutical business processes to become a trusted partner to clients
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable technical specifications
  • Design, develop, and implement software programs
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical teams and management to align on priorities and solutions
  • Communicate regularly and clearly with both customer and colleagues

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field preferred (for recent grads: GPA of 3.5 and above); other backgrounds (e.g., PharmD or healthcare) considered if paired with a strong interest in technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply business concepts in a client-facing environment
  • Determination to overcome technical and business challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client interactions professionally
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the following technologies is beneficial:
  • Java
  • React
  • Spring
  • Linux
  • SQL
