Bevtek was founded in 1979 and is one of the largest authorized Coca Cola service agents in the country. We are a unique business installing and servicing fountain beverage equipment, ice Makers, coffee dispensers and frozen beverage equipment. We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service soda fountain and ice maker equipment at customer locations.  This is a home-based position requiring the use of a company vehicle for daily service calls. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working independently in the field, and providing reliable service to customers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain soda fountain and ice maker equipment at assigned customer sites
• Respond to service calls as scheduled and directed by dispatchers.
• Follow all procedures, safety standards, and service guidelines required by contracted customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members regarding service status and equipment needs.
• Complete assigned work accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company expectations.
• Maintain company vehicle and demonstrate safe, responsible driving practices. 

1 Star Service Technician In Training $49,000 - $54,000    Entry Level Technician, Preventative Maintenance***   

• Valid DL and medical card   
• Owns personal hand tools and knows how to use them   
• Able to identify equipment and parts   
• Proficient on the Ipad and all apps   
• Able to take apart, clean/PM all equipment and reassemble

• Proficiently test electrical system with a multimeter  
• Able to perform all basic legacy and Freestyle repairs   
• Valve, carbonator, regulator, water booster rebuilds, pump replacements transformers, motors (auger, agitators and fans) FCM, SPM, PTP Replacements  
• Knows and understands and can perform QSC, DSC and closeout procedures  
• Knows how to call SR techs, get case numbers, check warranty status and flag calls

• Able to repair and service all juice units    
• Able to repair and service all coffee and tea brewers    
• Able to repair and service all Bevariety and IDC units     
• Able to complete any Freestyle repairs    
• Able to complete basic non refrigeration ice maker repairs

4 Star Master Service Technician  $69,000 - $74,000 ***Including all Previous Requirements***    

• HVAC certification    
• Able and willing to complete all multiplex repairs    
• Understand, diagnose and repair complex electrical systems Like 3 phase units   
• Able and willing  to complete advanced water filter system (RO, AJ Antunes etc.)    
• Understand and repair recirc systems    
• Able and willing to complete all ABS and ABS 2 repairs    
• Able and willing to diagnose basic refrigeration issues     
• Able and willing to repair basic refrigeration issues

 
5 Star Journeyman Refrigeration Tech   $75,000 - $90,000 ***Including all Previous Requirements***    

• Able and willing to complete any repair on any beverage equipment    
• Know how to use all tools required for refrigeration    
• Able and willing to hook up gauges, read and understand pressures   
• Able and willing to recover/reclaim freon     
• Able and willing Pressure check, find and repair leaks and vacuum down systems   
• Able and willing to braze safely and proficiently 
• Able and willing to complete all refrigeration repairs on Multiplex, Ice makers, FBD etc.  

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required. Must give permission to run driving record prior to hiring. 
• Mechanical ability and strong troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• EPA Universal certification is a plus
• Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers.
