Job description

Within the HEIMAT Spa, The Massage Therapist will deliver a personalized, world class wellness and elevated-lifestyle experience to all of our guests through high quality massage services.
  • Perform high quality massage services including classic relaxation, deep tissue, targeted work using percussive therapy tools, and other specific enhancement services tailored to guest's individual needs.
  • Procure health/treatment history and consult with guests about recommended services and treatment plans.
  • Record detailed notes for all guests including contraindications, allergies, medical history, and treatment preferences.
  • Establish a connection and foster relationships with guests.
  • Participate in HEIMAT events both outside and on the property.
  • Be knowledgeable and stay up-to-date on retail/treatment offerings while activelyrecommending products/treatments to guests.
  • Participate in training and adhering to all HEIMAT spa massage protocols.
  • Complete standard opening and closing duties in addition to assisting with basic spa needs.
  • Maintain a current license per local state requirements and abide by all rules and regulations associated with licensure.
  • Provide excellent high-level customer service to guests, promoting a tranquil and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain a high level of sanitation and disinfection on a daily basis.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a working Massage Therapist.
  • Certified with a current and valid California state board license.
  • Relationship-oriented individuals that also show high self-initiative.
  • Excellent customer service skills and be able to express a genuine interest in each guest and their needs.
  • Empathetic and have a true interest in each guest's wellness goals.
  • Must have schedule availability/flexibility to include weekends and holidays.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of touch therapy, anatomy, and tissue manipulation. Experience with percussive therapy tools is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and utilize new product lines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Team oriented and willing to contribute to the overall needs of the spa.
  • Demonstrate a passion for health and wellness.
  • Reliable and willing to assist fellow employees with shift coverage when necessary.

Compensation: $50.00 per hour plus tips and commission on add-ons and products sold
