Position Description:

Tiber is seeking a Software Engineer to join a fast-paced development team supporting a modern microservice-based software ecosystem with multiple user interfaces. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and enhancement of scalable applications and services.

The team follows a collaborative development approach where engineers play an active role in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement. You will work alongside other developers to solve complex technical challenges, build reliable software solutions, and support the evolution of existing systems.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Java development, including design, debugging, and problem-solving
  • Experience developing RESTful web applications
  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience working with MongoDB or similar database technologies
  • Experience implementing automated testing practices

Nice to Have

  • Full-stack development experience, including UI development with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js
  • Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
  • Experience with Linux administration
  • Familiarity with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold an active clearance with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

  • This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
