ELLISTON MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATES


Rowe Fine Furniture, Inc. is seeking Manufacturing Associates that are hands-on professionals responsible for transforming raw materials into finished goods within a production facility. These positions typically work on assembly lines, operate machinery, and perform quality checks to ensure products meet company and safety standards.


Jobs

  • Production & Assembly: Set up and operate assembly lines to produce goods according to precise blueprints or instructions.
  • Quality Control: Perform routine visual inspections and identify defects and ensure items meet established company specifications.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products, often using pallet jacks or forklifts.
  • Materials Dispatcher: Coordinates the movement and delivery of parts, supplies, and raw materials between warehouses and/or production floors.
  • Janitorial: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational order of a facility and its surrounding grounds.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for 8 plus hours a day and lift heavy objects, between 25 and 100 lbs. depending on specific job. Sewing Machine Operators are the exception and they would lift up to 5 lbs. and would be seated for 8 plus hours a day.
  • Attention to Detail: Essential for identifying subtle product variances or errors in fast-paced environments.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Safety Adherence: Strictly follow OSHA safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) like steel-toed boots and safety glasses.

Typical Work Environment

  • Setting: The factory environment can be loud, fast-paced, and exposed to dust, heat, or fumes.
  • Schedule: First shift, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
