Primary Responsibilities:

Candidate will support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors, radar tracking algorithms, advanced sensors in EW environments; simulation of radar systems; field-testing of RF sensors and systems; in addition to the deployment of advanced sensor systems.

In this role you will work closely with other skilled engineers as they deep-dive into existing algorithms to find areas for improvement in both performance and processing latency. You will find newer algorithms available in literature to investigate and determine if they can provide improvements to the various radar programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below will also be considered.

  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Must be a resident of Northern Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.

  • Should be able to apply skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation, antenna array theory, digital signal processing, tracking, algorithm development, and field testing of sensor systems. Experience working with a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry.

  • Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following:

    • Digital signal processing

    • Tracker algorithms

    • MATLAB / Python

    • Radar Simulation and Modeling

  • Candidate with additional skills in the following is desired:

    • Electromagnetics

    • Modern C++ development

    • Familiarity with Linux

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

  • Experience with radar simulation along with a strong background in statistics and probability.
