Job description

Are you ready to start your career in the automotive industry with one of the most well-known brands in the business? Our brand-new Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram store in Lancaster, SC is looking for Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an already thriving dealership in a rapidly expanding market!
Compensation & Benefits: The selected candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate within the range of $16 - $25 per hour, paid semimonthly. Additionally, they will have access to benefits such as paid training, health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians with inspections, diagnostics and repairs.
  • Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks and brake inspections
  • Read, understand and perform requested services as outlined in repair orders.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines
  • Keep records of all repairs and services performed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Work toward certifications and training through Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram's technician development programs.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or vocational training (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of automotive technology and repair methods
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in a fast paced and physically demanding work enviroment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
