Job description

We are looking for an IT Specialist to join a growing IT Software organization in Atlanta, Georgia. This Contract to permanent opportunity is suited for a hands-on systems support specialist who can keep end-user technology, network connectivity, and collaboration tools running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across enterprise administration platforms, wireless troubleshooting, and conference room technology while delivering dependable day-to-day support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide front-line and escalated technical support for employees, resolving hardware, software, identity, and access issues across a range of enterprise environments.
• Investigate and remediate wireless and network-related problems using Cisco Meraki tools, including client connectivity, signal quality, roaming behavior, and interference concerns.
• Administer user accounts, device access, and operational workflows within platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Active Directory, Slack, CrowdStrike, AirWatch, FreshService, and Zscaler.
• Support Zoom Rooms and meeting space technology by diagnosing issues involving displays, microphones, cameras, cabling, and related AV components, and coordinate vendor escalation when required.
• Maintain reliable workstation and endpoint operations across Windows-based environments and associated enterprise device platforms.
• Assist users with modern AI applications by offering practical guidance on effective prompting, usage troubleshooting, and everyday productivity support.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring technical patterns to improve service quality and streamline future support efforts.• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in an IT support or systems administration role.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki, including use of the Meraki Dashboard for diagnosing wireless and client access issues.
• Working knowledge of Zoom Rooms and conference room audiovisual support, with the ability to identify common failures and determine when escalation is appropriate.
• Strong administrative experience across enterprise tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Active Directory, Slack, CrowdStrike, AirWatch, FreshService, and Zscaler.
• Active practical experience using at least one contemporary AI platform, such as Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or Microsoft Copilot, including the ability to assist end users.
• Familiarity with Windows environments, including Windows 10 and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with technologies such as Dell systems, Citrix, Jamf Pro, or JAMF Casper Suite is beneficial.
• Meraki certification and exposure to AV control platforms such as Crestron, Logitech, Neat, or Poly are considered a plus.
