Job description

Honeycomb Holdings Inc. | Remote | Full-Time

About Us

Honeycomb Holdings Inc. is a fast-growing startup building tools that help small businesses manage their finances. We're a friendly, curious team of 40 people who love solving real problems and shipping products that actually get used.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Software Engineer on our product team, you'll help build and improve the features our customers use every day. That includes writing the code behind buttons users click, forms they fill out, and the systems that store and process their data behind the scenes. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to bring new ideas to life.

Day-to-day, this might look like:

  • Building new pages and features for our web application
  • Fixing bugs that customers report
  • Reviewing your teammates' code and offering feedback
  • Writing automated tests to make sure things don't break when we make changes
  • Joining planning conversations to help shape what we build next

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience writing code professionally
  • Comfortable working with a frontend framework (we use React) and a backend language (we use Python)
  • Familiar with databases and how to retrieve and store information in them
  • Someone who communicates clearly and asks questions when something is unclear
  • No computer science degree required — we care about what you can build, not where you studied

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with Git (a tool used to track changes to code and collaborate with teammates)

What We Offer

  • $110,000 – $145,000 base salary depending on experience
  • Fully remote with flexible hours
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • $1,500/year learning budget for books, courses, or conferences
  • 4 weeks paid time off

Honeycomb Holdings is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds.
