Job description

IT Help Desk Associates needed for long-term temporary onsite positions in midtown Manhattan. These are Monday through Friday 9am-5pm opportunities working in a heavy volume Call Center/Customer Service environment.


Some of the job duties include:

  • Answering incoming calls for the Helpdesk
  • Assisting users with their computers, laptops, printers and programs; providing technical support and resolving issues via telephone and Microsoft’s Systems Management Server (SMS) tool
  • Escalating requests as needed
  • Installing and troubleshooting programs including Microsoft Office, creating user accounts, and assisting users as needed
  • Assisting with Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new and upgraded applications or systems


Please have:

  • At least six (6) months experience providing technical support in an IT Helpdesk environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Windows XP and Microsoft Admin experience (i.e. SMS, AD, DNS)
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot software packages
  • Troubleshooting and hardware diagnostic skills to include desktops, laptops, and printers
  • Knowledge of wide area networking, internet access, and usage
  • Call Center/Customer Service experience
