Develops clear-written materials to support product development activities such as operations, maintenance or repair manuals, tutorials, specifications and help systems | Interviews technical staff to collect product information and specifications | Collects and organizes technical information and product images and coordinates layout for publication | Adheres to agreed terminology, style and editorial quality standards

  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks

  • Supports engineering, technology, production, or research departments by collecting and maintaining blueprints, specifications, schematics, or other forms of technical documentation.
  • Verifies accuracy of documentation and completeness of files and resolves discrepancies.
  • Ensures documents are retained and destroyed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implements processes for document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction.
  • May utilize an electronic document/record management system.

      • Required education and experience: High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
      • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

      • Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
      • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Detail oriented. Attentiveness. Clerical skills. Ability to understand and follow directions.

      • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
      • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
