Job Description:
  • The Scientist (Chemist) is responsible to work with a diverse group of scientists engaged in basic and applied research to provide innovative products and solutions for reducing hospital acquired infections and improving the quality of health care.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Quality Reports.
  • Maintain and implement efforts in housekeeping, and safety programs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory.
  • Prepare solutions and diluents used in the QC Laboratory.
  • Perform simple test like pH, SPG, NVR, etc.
  • Understands and consistently follows multi-step documented procedures while conducting laboratory testing.
  • Receive and maintain inventory for chemicals, glassware, and consumables.
  • Maintains accurate and well-organized laboratory records, notebooks and/or worksheets
  • Sample staging for analysts, label the glassware and vials.
  • Maintenance of the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance programs for laboratory equipment Provide QC support to new product development/Launch/Capacity Expansion projects.
  • Support any Waste Reduction Initiatives that involves QC laboratories.
  • Demonstrate Regulatory Compliance such as FDA inspection readiness, Corporate Audits, Internal Audits and maintain Training Compliance.
  • Demonstrate Safety Compliance such as Strive for Zero Serious Accidents in the QC laboratories, contribute for a successful EH&S Audits with 0 major observations and Contribute for the overall Safety Index plant goal of ?98%
  • Must have awareness and respect of all company policies and safety rules.
  • Maintain appropriate training/certification including GLP and GMP
  • Perform other assigned tasks on as needed basis.

  • 2-5 years in laboratory work.
  • Conversant with GLP/GCP/cGMP and global Drug and Device Development Processes
