Koons Motors is looking for an experienced, driven, and highly motivated Commercial Truck Sales Manager to lead and grow our Commercial Truck Department.

This is not an entry-level management position. We're looking for someone who understands commercial trucks inside and out—especially the Ford commercial lineup—and has a proven history of developing business, building relationships, and driving profitability. Candidates with an existing commercial customer portfolio and established fleet relationships will receive strong consideration.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead and grow the Commercial Truck Department while exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Develop new commercial and fleet business through aggressive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with local businesses, municipalities, contractors, fleet accounts, and government agencies.
  • Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing commercial sales team.
  • Manage the entire commercial sales process from prospecting through delivery.
  • Maintain a disciplined CRM follow-up process to ensure no opportunity is missed.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and inventory to maximize profitability.
  • Work closely with Executive Management, Finance, Marketing, and Fixed Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure all deals comply with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain exceptional CSI scores while delivering a world-class buying experience.
  • Stay current on Ford commercial vehicles, upfit options, financing programs, fleet incentives, and industry trends.

  • Existing Book of Business Preferred

  • Previous Automotive Commercial Sales Management experience (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of Ford Commercial Trucks and fleet operations preferred.
