Job description

IR Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking a skilled IR Technologist to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures while ensuring the highest quality patient care. The position requires a commitment to patient safety and effective teamwork with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interventional procedures including Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, and vein sampling.
  • Assist in Phase 2 recovery for patients.
  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup during procedures.
  • Document patient information and treatment using EPIC systems.
  • Participate in overnight call and weekend rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 1 year of IR experience preferred.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • Preferred skills in various interventional radiology techniques.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
