REQUIRED: Active CA Guard Card / California Exposed Firearm Permit / California Concealed Weapons Permit or LEOSA / Military Combat MOS, Law Enforcement Special Operations background or *extensive* security experience.
Surefox North America Inc is a veteran owned company that prides ourselves on creating a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team in the Lake Tahoe, CA area.
You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Team Leader and Program Managers for our top Silicon Valley clients. In your day to day role as a Residential Security Agent, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing physical security of assigned clients at their residence. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, overwatch and reconnaissance to assigned clients, staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests in a timely manner.
We are looking for someone who has Extensive background in either Military, Security or Law Enforcement, exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail, someone who works independently on assignments and has the ability to liaise and coordinate with supporting or adjacent teams, agencies, or vendors to ensure clients' security requirements are met in a timely and professional manner. The individual selected must be flexible and able to respond to dynamic situations with sound judgement, as well as have the ability to perform their duties on a national and international level.

  • What you will do:
  • โ€ข Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the team
    โ€ข Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines
    โ€ข Manage/monitor surveillance equipment and access points
    โ€ข Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence
    โ€ข Screen all incoming mail
    โ€ข Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/ or by vehicle while monitoring access
    โ€ข Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site
    โ€ข Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency
    โ€ข Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
    โ€ข Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property
    โ€ข Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities
    โ€ข Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner
    โ€ข Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
    โ€ข Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy
    โ€ข Be responsible for client and family safety, as well as safeguarding client assets
    โ€ข Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments
    โ€ข Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner
    โ€ข Maintain up to date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest within a given area of responsibility
    โ€ข Operate in a low profile, low footprint capacity
    โ€ข Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines
    โ€ข Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures
    What is required:

    โ€ข Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
    โ€ข Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws, regulations or codes)
    โ€ข Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
    โ€ข Must have a high school degree or equivalent
    โ€ข Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
    โ€ข Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
    โ€ข Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
    โ€ข Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
    โ€ข Ability to work independently and as a team member
    โ€ข CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages is required
    โ€ข Possess a valid and current driver license
    โ€ข Possess a valid U.S Passport
    โ€ข Ability to work nights and weekends as required
    โ€ข Ability to work autonomously, domestic and internationally
    โ€ข Have an operational understanding of today's technology across all platforms
    โ€ข Strong writing and interpersonal skills
