JOB DETAILS:
Position:Weld Robotics Technician

Location:ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324
Pay Rate:$30.00 - $38.00 per hour (W2 Only)
• • Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense • •
• • This is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered • •
Weld Seibi Technician will support the preparation, installation, validation, and launch of automated welding equipment used in vehicle body and chassis production. They will work with equipment vendors and manufacturing plants to ensure welding equipment is properly built, programmed, installed, and production-ready for a new model or process change.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Offline and/or online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body Chassis equipment at the vendors.
• Support Body Chassis Seibi activity from installation to the start of production.
• Participate in effective written and verbal communication with Machine Seibi Team Members, Project Leaders, Management, and outside groups regarding issues that require resolution.
• Promote teamwork and conduct On The Job Training (OJT) with hands-on tasks.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• • MUST be able to interview onsite
• 1 3 years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in an automotive or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robots, robotic programming, robot teaching, or robotic equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting body, chassis, body-weld, or automated assembly equipment.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment installation, setup, testing, commissioning, or production launch support.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience identifying equipment or process issues and supporting corrective actions.
• EDUCATION: High School Graduate/GED
Ideal Candidates will have the following:
• Robotics / MIG welding.
• Arc Welding
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Clamping
• Robot motion arc weld teaching.
• 1 year of experience, not looking for senior people.
Other Requirements:
• 50% Travel - Domestic and International (able to obtain a US Passport) (Japan, Mexico and Canada)
• 50% Over-time - which covers weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required
NICE TO HAVE:
• Automotive manufacturing experience.
