Job Description

AIM Recycling Caribou, ME is searching for the position of Crane Operator. 

Under the authority of the Site Manager, the Crane operator carries, with the help of a crane, loads of different materials or other handling equipment, requiring the use of his machine and related accessories.

Responsibilities

- Operates the hydraulic excavator.

- Discharging trucks of cars carcasses and/or large pieces.

- Monitors the quality of products and notifies the receiving manager of the presence

of non-conforming products or contaminants.

- Cut the non-ferrous materials on request.

- Load with the magnet metal trucks to be sent to the foundries.

- Material sorting.

- Ensures the maintenance of equipment and work areas and regularly inspects the operation.

- Performs a daily report on its activities.

- Occasionally, cut large pieces of metal with the torch.

- Performs any other tasks upon request from the Site Manager.

Qualifications

Skills

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.

- Knowledge of the vehicle under its responsibility.

- Organized, responsible, resourceful, and dynamic.

- Good team worker.

    - Possibility of overtime

    • Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
