Job DetailsJob Location: Oak Brook HQ - Oak Brook, IL 60523Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 HourlyGENERAL FUNCTION: Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the loan servicing functions required in order to maintain the bank’s loan portfolio and service all loan customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare the daily and month-end reconciliations for Loan Control, and other GLs and deposit accounts as assigned.
  • Review the file maintenance performed for all loans in connection with the system generated reports to ensure that all actions were performed accurately and under proper authority.
  • Review the maintenance cross check report daily, researching and communicating any errors that need to be cleared with other department members.
  • Review the Bank Control Change report for accurate rate changes and other changes performed within the loan system or by Loan Operations.
  • Research and respond to credit bureau disputes received directly from customers and through the EOscar system.
  • Review all HELOC advances according to the established procedure.
  • Review the loan disbursement check log daily for any discrepancies.
  • Prepare various month-end reports, as assigned.
  • Perform research and prepare information requested on loans for collection and/or litigation purposes.
  • Assist customers with inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Retrieve Ring Central messages from department voicemail and respond in a timely manner.
  • Lock all department cabinets and drawers nightly to ensure the safety of customer information.
  • Access, review, and process reports, checklists, and procedures assigned in connection with the above responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned
EXPECTATIONS

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Provide support for other members of the department as needed including special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • 2 years loan processing or loan servicing experience with a focus in commercial lending preferred.
  • Familiar with a variety of the lending and general banking concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work and think independently.
