Our client is a premier global luxury furniture and design brand with 22 international showrooms, with a new location in the US in Boston, MA. Known for high-end craftsmanship and sophisticated contemporary design, they are launching an exclusive, boutique showroom in Boston. We are seeking a dynamic, design-savvy Interior Architect to be a Sales Consultant to be the face of the new Boston location and introduce our exquisite collections to the local market.

Overview
This showroom-based role combines furniture sales with interior design support. The ideal candidate has a background in architecture or interior design, strong sales abilities, and a passion for creating functional, aesthetically appealing spaces using the brand of furniture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Cultivate B2B Relationships: Proactively outreach and network with local interior designers, architects, and highnet-worth clients to establish a consistent book of business.
  • Design Consultation: Provide expert guidance on spacing, materials, custom finishes, and aesthetics (ability to read floor plans or sketch layouts is a major plus).
  • Prepare quotations, presentations, and sales proposals using ODOO system. Training will be provided
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM software.
  • Coordinate order processing, shipping, and communication with the warehouse.
  • Develop furniture layouts and design proposals using AutoCAD, Revit, or Any 3D visualization tools. Personal preference for software’s is ok.
  • Create presentation materials and space-planning solutions incorporating the brands products.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, production teams, and the factory throughout the sales process.
  • Build relationships with architectural and design firms to promote the brands furniture.
  • Support business development efforts and identify opportunities within design projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, and related design software.
  • Previous experience in sales, account management, or furniture/interior design sales preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of space planning, furniture integration, and design presentation techniques.
  • Existing contacts within the Boston interior design and luxury home industry is a significant advantage.
  • Exemplary Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage and build rapport with high-net-worth clientele.
  • Schedule: Ability to work full-time on-site, including weekends as required by retail showroom traffic. ( one weekend day and one weekday off)
Note: This is primarily a furniture sales position with design support responsibilities. It is not a traditional architectural design or project management role. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between sales and design, helping clients create functional and visually compelling spaces while representing the brand.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: plus, uncapped commission based in sales (expected “additional” earning potential of $6,000 per month. Estimated annual earning $120K or more. Employee benefits are offered.
