Mid-Level Interior Designer | Boston, MA


A busy interior architecture firm in Boston’s Seaport is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for a designer who enjoys corporate interiors, wants exposure to a variety of projects, and is looking for an environment where they can take on meaningful responsibility and continue developing their career.


The firm specializes in corporate interiors, workplace environments, tenant fit-outs, and existing building renovations throughout Greater Boston. The team offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong repeat business, significant autonomy, and opportunities for designers to take greater ownership of their work.


Responsibilities

  • Support corporate interiors and workplace projects through design and documentation
  • Develop project drawings and construction documents using Revit
  • Contribute to space planning, design development, and project execution
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Architects, consultants, and internal design teams
  • Work across multiple active projects and assignments
  • Assist with existing building renovations and tenant fit-out projects
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while working within project schedules and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and contribute to a collaborative studio environment
  • Take on increasing project ownership and responsibility


Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of professional interior design, interior architecture, or architectural design experience
  • Corporate/workplace interiors experience strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Bluebeam proficiency preferred
  • Some AutoCAD experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Collaborative, personable, and positive approach
  • Ability to take initiative without requiring constant direction
