Job description

Description
If you like precision, fast-moving financial operations, and being the person who ensures nothing slips through the cracks, this role is built for you. This is an entry-level opportunity with hands-on training and growth potential!
Keystone Funding, Inc. is looking for a Funding Desk Coordinator to support the execution of daily loan fundings within our Secondary Marketing Operations team.
You will be responsible for coordinating daily loan fundings across multiple warehouse lines, ensuring all wire activity is accurate, timely, and fully reconciled. This role works closely with closing, post-closing, and secondary marketing teams to ensure seamless execution from signed closing documents through investor delivery.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Bonus: Performance-based, per company policy
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company match
  • Paid Time Off

Responsibilities
What You'll Own
This role is responsible for the accuracy, timing, and execution of daily funding operations.
Daily Funding Execution
• Coordinate loan fundings across multiple warehouse lines
• Verify fund dates, confirm wire instructions, handle incoming wire verification calls, and transmit wire requests on time
• Monitor warehouse line availability and flag capacity issues to the VP
• Process MERS registrations and transfers within required state timelines
• Maintain accurate warehouse position reporting, including tracking balances, utilization, and funding activity across lines
• Manage and maintain warehouse banking systems and software, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and proper functionality for daily funding operations
Post-Closing & Investor Support
• Support the post-closing team with note tracking and shipping
• Upload purchase advice to the warehouse bank portals
• Assist in ensuring all post-funding documentation is complete and accurate
Systems & Reporting
• Work daily within the Mortgage Director LOS and the warehouse bank portals
• Support implementation and ongoing use of funding technologies
• Log, track, and direct funding and servicing-related requests
• Assist with daily/weekly reporting on warehouse balances, funding counts, and pipeline status
What Growth Looks Like
This is a role with a clear path forward, not a static support position.
As Keystone Funding continues to scale its Secondary Marketing Operations function, this role will grow alongside new systems, automation tools, and expanded capital markets capabilities.
You'll gain exposure to:
• End-to-end loan funding and warehouse lending operations
• Investor delivery and capital markets workflows
• Operational systems and automation in a modern mortgage environment
Over time, this role can evolve into expanded responsibilities across funding operations, secondary marketing, or capital markets support functions.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
• We are looking for someone highly reliable, detail-driven, and calm under pressure.
Required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field-or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working in multiple systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• High level of integrity when handling sensitive financial data
Preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage operations, banking, funding, closing, or financial services
• Familiarity with warehouse lending, TRID, MERS, or investor delivery processes
• Exposure to mortgage LOS systems (Mortgage Director, Encompass) or similar platforms
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Recent graduates with strong coursework in finance, accounting, or business are encouraged to apply; we will train the right person.
