Job description

We are a growing local insurance agency looking to add a motivated, dependable team member to our sales team. In this role, you will speak with prospective customers, quote insurance policies, and help families choose the right protection for their home and vehicles. This is a relationship based sales position where we provide training, scripts, and leads so you can focus on conversations and closing business. You will not be door knocking. Most of your day will be spent working inbound calls, warm transfers, internet leads, and referrals.

Speak with new prospects by phone, text, and email

Quote auto, home, and umbrella insurance policies

Identify coverage gaps and recommend proper protection

Follow up with leads and warm referrals

Build relationships with clients and provide ongoing service

Work with marketing transfers and inbound calls

Document conversations and activity in our CRM


Requirements

Ability to obtain a Kansas Property & Casualty insurance license within 30 days (we provide guidance)

Comfortable speaking on the phone for most of the day

Strong communication and listening skills

Must pass a background check
