Title: Title Policy Specialist

 

Location: Coraopolis, PA (Fully on-site)

The Title Policy Specialist responsible for the examination of the efficacy of existing policies and laying the groundwork for new programs and legislation to meet SLAs, objectives, and goals. 

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:

  •       Review title commitments, closing disclosures, and related documentation to ensure compliance with underwriting requirements, client instructions, and policy issuance standards.
  •       Validate vesting, title insurance amounts, endorsements, legal descriptions, and satisfaction of all title requirements prior to policy issuance.
  •       Examine recorded documents for accuracy, proper execution, recording order, and adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs).
  •       Prepare, review, and issue title insurance policies and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  •       Research and process policy corrections, updates, and reissuance requests while meeting established turnaround times.
  •       Resolve policy-related discrepancies and escalate complex issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  •       Respond to customer and client inquiries regarding policy status, updates, corrections, and title-related issues.
  •       Maintain accurate policy records and ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and underwriting standards.
  •       Support premium remittance reporting through data validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
  •       Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and meet operational goals.
  •       Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  •       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  •       1-3 years of experience in title insurance, title policy production, title examination, or a related real estate/settlement services environment.
  •       Working knowledge of title commitments, title insurance policies, endorsements, and underwriting requirements preferred.
  •       Experience using RamQuest and related title production or closing systems preferred.
  •       Multi-state or national title operations experience preferred.
  •       Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
