Basic Function

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) supports customers and the sales organization by providing high-quality service, accurate order processing, and timely sales support. This role handles inbound and outbound communication, prepares quotes, assists with product information, and ensures a positive customer experience while supporting revenue growth. 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support 

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries 
  • Provide customers with product, pricing, and availability information 
  • Process orders, returns, replacements, and account updates 
  • Troubleshoot basic order or service issues and follow standard workflows 
  • Maintain accurate documentation in CRM and internal systems
  • E-Commence 

 

Inside Sales & Revenue Support 

  • Prepare quotes within established pricing guidelines 
  • Conduct routine outbound follow-ups on quotes and open orders 
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities 
  • Support field sales teams with documentation, samples, and scheduling 
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to guide customers effectively 

 

Workload Expectations 

  • Manage high-volume daily customer communication 
  • Complete 5–15 quotes per day depending on complexity 
  • Process 20–40 orders or service tickets per day 
  • Maintain consistent follow-up on assigned quotes and customer needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
