Your Role:
As an RN or LPN, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents. You'll provide skilled nursing care, monitor health conditions, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure residents receive personalized, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess resident health needs and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate changes in resident conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Perform physical assessments and respond to medical concerns.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and caregiving staff as needed.
  • Facilitate hospital transfers and emergency response procedures.
  • Perform clinical procedures including:
    • IV and saline lock management.
    • Glucose and INR monitoring.
    • Lab specimen collection.
    • Bladder scans and suction procedures.
  • Assist with resident admissions and care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and EMR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Michigan RN or LPN License.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 6 months to 1 year of geriatric, long-term care, assisted living, or senior care experience.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent resident care needs when necessary.
