Job description

Injection Mold Tooling Specialist (Wire EDM)Your mission

Keep tools running, keep production moving, and continually elevate tooling performance. Youโ€™ll own maintenance and repair activities that directly impact uptimeโ€”with a clear target to reduce mold maintenance downtime by 3% versus the previous benchmark.

Core responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and sketches with accuracy.
  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble molds, fixtures, and machine tools.
  • Operate all tool room equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Carry out tooling tasks assigned by the Tooling Manager.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, orderly work area and equipment.
  • Complete all company-provided quality training.
  • Propose and support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Deliver measurable reductions in mold maintenance downtime and strengthen overall tooling reliability.
