Temporary IT Support Technician – iPad Support / Field Technician

Company: Peak Systems Inc.
Location: New York Metro Area – NYC & All Boroughs
Job Type: Temporary / Contract – W-2 Employment
Schedule: Weekday Morning & Daytime Hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate of $24-$26 based on experience


Job Description:

Peak Systems Inc. is hiring Temporary IT Support Technicians to provide onsite iPad technical support during student testing projects at private schools throughout the New York Metro Area.

This is a great opportunity for IT students, college students, Help Desk Technicians, Desktop Support Technicians, Field Service Technicians, and entry-level IT professionals.


Technicians will support elementary, middle, and high school students, teachers, and school staff. Candidates must be professional, presentable, patient, reliable, and comfortable working in a school environment.


Upcoming Project Dates:

  • August 31, 2026
  • September  14, 2026

Additional IT opportunities may be available based on performance and client needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite iPad support
  • Assist with iPad setup, enrollment, and configuration
  • Troubleshoot device and Wi-Fi issues
  • Replace faulty devices when needed
  • Support students and staff with technical issues
  • Document tickets and device information
  • Follow client procedures and maintain professionalism

Requirements:

  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable with iPads, tablets, smartphones, and computers
  • Basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Comfortable working around children and school staff
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • W-2 employment only – no subcontractors
