Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced New Business Development and Strategic Accounts individual to drive growth for our innovative line of Pro Mixยฎ branded food ingredients. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships with Blue Chip and emerging food manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the full sales process: prospecting, qualifying leads, presentations, technical discussions, pricing, and closing the deal
  • Develop new business client relationships and nurture existing business accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers at national and regional food manufacturers
  • Serve as the primary customer advocate, understanding their challenges and providing
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and leadership to offer innovative solutions to specific product applications and customer needs.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $65k - $80k
  • Variable Commission: residual uncapped commission paid as a flat pennies-per-pound on every PO for the accounts won (no cap, no expiration while business
  • continues).
  • Projected Year One On-Target-Earnings: $120k - $145k
  • 401(k): up to 5% match + 3% employer contribution regardless of participation (up to 8% total) eligible after 1 year
  • Medical (HDHP), dental, vision; MN paid leave program (short-term coverage), long-term disability eligible after 60 days
  • Company-paid: long-term disability + life insurance eligible after 6 months
  • PTO: upon initial hire, the employee will begin to accrue 70 PTO Hours
  • At the 1-year service anniversary, the employee will accrue 110 PTO hours At the 5-year service anniversary, the employee will accrue 150 PTO hours At the 10-Year service anniversary the employee will accrue 190 PTO hours
  • Paid Holidays: 8
