Job description

Position Overview Entry level in the custodial occupation requiring some knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures; under immediate supervision, cleans County facilities. Summary of Job Duties Collects trash and transports it to compactor or dumpster. Cleans and dusts furniture and other surfaces, such as windowsills, doors, blinds, door jambs, TV's, mirrors, filing cabinets and desks.

Cleans and maintains restrooms and/or including stocking paper towels, toilet paper and soap dispensers. Vacuums carpets; sweeps and mops floors. Performs special cleaning projects, such as washing windows, thorough room cleaning, washing blinds, defrosting refrigerators.

Moves boxes, furniture and equipment. . (Performs Related Duties as Required) Minimum Qualifications and Requirements Equivalent to eighth school grade plus three (3) months general custodial work.

Supplemental Information May be required to have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record..
