We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator for our location in Paris, Ontario.

This position is currently open and reflects a growth in the company.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities. 

Shift Information:
Monday-Friday,

Continental shift schedule (12-hour rotating shifts)

When your actions lead to success:

  • Operate CNC routers and cutting systems (AXYZ, Zünd/Conserpg)
  • Load and unload sheet materials (plastics, aluminum, foam, vinyl, etc.)
  • Set up tooling and adjust machine parameters (speed, depth, cutting tools)
  • Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to files or settings as needed
  • Understand differences between icutting (high volume, thinner materials) and CNC routing (thicker, longer cuts)
  • Inspect finished parts for cut quality issues (e.g., scratches, banding, defects)
  • Perform basic measurements to confirm cuts align with drawings (not high-frequency)
  • Read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints to understand cut requirements
  • Stage and stack finished materials on skids for downstream processes (painting, packaging, assembly)
  • Ensure materials, workspace, and production flow are properly prepared
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform routine machine maintenance
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Work on your feet for extended periods in a production environment

When your expertise drives us:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC, digital cutting (icutting), or routing equipment
  • Experience working with sheet materials (plastics, aluminum, foam, vinyl) is an asset
  • Exposure to AXYZ, Zünd, or similar cutting systems is considered an asset
  • Basic understanding of: cutting tools and speeds, machine setup and adjustments, file modifications if cuts are not to spec
  • Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly for cut quality and defect detection
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
