As a Security Officer Entry Level in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support residents and guests with strong communication and customer service while contributing to a reliable, agile, and integrity-driven team environment.

Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat03:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter trespassing, policy violations, and/or other concerning behavior within the location.
  • Document routine activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and communicate with property management and/or appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
