Job Summary

Trend VW is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or advance a career in automotive service within a dealership environment. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
  • Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings accurately
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics
  • Replace filters, bulbs, batteries, brakes, and wiper blades
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and follow all safety procedures
  • Properly use dealership tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems
  • Follow manufacturer and dealership repair standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Entry-level automotive experience or technical school training is a plus
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow within the dealership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
